  Do you facebook??

  ok, i am ready to come out to ex jw friends.

  i have recently registered on facebook and have been in touch with some friends i haven't seen for years.. .

  i have always been reluctant to post any pics of me on ex jw public forums or give away too much personal information.

  Senior Citizens......How does your congregation treat them?

  not as good as they use too... but then again they are following the lead of the wts.

  why bother with fellowship when you can plug everyone into the telephone.. one one hand they are pushing fs, on the other they are making so many changes that several of the elderly are getting depressed, especially ever since the may 1, 2007 qfr.

  with the afternoon bs soon yanked, many not allowed to drive at night, and elderships that don't care enough to orchestrate carpools....it is bad..

  There are a lot of variables to the answer to this question. Brin mentioned some, money and who you are/know, how much time you put in service each month, how many meetings you get to.

  Lack of love was what made me stop going to the meetings, and from what I've read here and on other boards over the last several years, this is a WORLD WIDE THING!

  Lola, your post and your attitude makes me sick. The JW's preach how they belong to a World Wide Brotherhood, how we are supposed to give our very LIFE for our brother or sister, yet very few would come and help you out with something, bring a meal over when you are sick, a visit in a hospital or nursing home? Think about this and maybe you might, just might, maybe, re consider your attitude.

  it's always a bonus when a guy wants to listen/learn. Every woman is different, so what worked for someone he was with previously, might not work with who he's with now. Listen to what a woman is telling you guys!! lol

  There is an art to kissing that most (not all) guys seem to not realize. It's a big turn off when right away he tries to see how far down your throat he can shove his tongue. I've been told I'm a very good kisser, a good kiss is one of the most erotic things going.

  I like to listen to a local AM station, http://www.570news.com/ in the morning it's talk radio, with listener call ins, talking about anything and everything, local, regional, world wide events etc. They usually feature authors etc in the afternoons. I like Rock/alternative rock and listen to this station mostly, http://www.fm96.com/home/default.aspx, like this one too if I want something a bit harder, plus they have a really really good morning show, keeps me laughing on the way to work http://www.edge.ca/

  How do civilizations "just go missing"?

  the little stars *** are to show my comments on it along the way.. the vedas, the oldest texts of south asia, dating from some 3,500 years ago, made no mention of it, nor did the bible.

  no pyramids or burial mounds marked the area as the site of an ancient power.

  yet, 4,600 years ago, at the same time as the early civilizations of mesopotamia and egypt, great cities arose along the flood plains of he ancient indus and saraswati rivers in what is now pakistan and northwest india.

  My Horse Passed

  about 9 tonight, i found my bay gelding papas, down in a cattle guard.

  he was tangled up ...and broke both his left legs.

  he tried to get up for me.... needless to say.......... my neighbor, helped me get the body out... and they will bury him for me out in the big back pasture tomorrow.. wait for me on the green pap..

  I'm scared of being lonely

  There is nothing to be scared of. Women will pick up on this in a heartbeat and steer a wide berth away from you. You need to be on your own for a while before you can start dating, discover who you are. Don't rush into things.
